That Infamous Question
"How long have you been a photographer"? To put it simply, I've had a camera since the tail end of the 35mm film era. It wasn't however until this moment in 2014 that I really felt like I had produced something worthy of printing in large format. Still today this image (honorably) hangs in my best friends bedroom.

I don't like photographing food, I'm just hungry.
What can I say, it's an easy way to a free meal. Just kidding! I actually cooked as a profession for the first 8 years of my working life. I still have an incredible love for good food, but I have since gotten out of the kitchen and behind the lens.

SIMPLY SAID, I'D RATHER BE OUTSIDE
....amongst the pines, on a dirty desert road, or high atop my favorite mountain in the Cascade Range. This is where I find my creativity and inspiration as a photographer. Nature is my studio, and without a doubt my favorite place to connect with clients!

I'm a yes man
And that's exactly how I got into wedding photography. Someone asked. I said yes. With that said, no request is too big or too small. I'm just happy to be behind the camera, and honored to be a part of your story.

Sometimes I get lucky
But let's not simply hope for luck. I'm a firm believer that good preparation and planing always trumps good luck. So, as we start this journey together know that I will put my foot forward and make sure that we are on the right path to creating beautiful images.

FEATURED LINKS

Thanks for taking time to look through my portfolio. As you might have noticed, I have a broad spectrum of work. I choose not to have any specific category completely define me as a photographer. At the end of the day, I just enjoy being behind the camera. Second to my love for photography is my love to explore this earth. While my business is based in Bend, Oregon I am available for travel and would love to fly across oceans to help you tell your story.
